Baseball Stadiums
There are many factors that would influence the enjoyment of families of a baseball game. And one of these is the baseball stadium. If you did not think that the baseball stadium is not one aspect of the game that can influence one’s enjoyment of it, then you would definitely be surprised.
Why wouldn’t baseball stadiums have influence on one’s enjoyment, when it is the venue of the game itself? If you think of baseball stadiums in this perspective, then you would surely understand it a bit already. So, what is it about baseball stadiums that would contribute to the viewers’ enjoyment of the game?
For starters, a baseball stadium should have affordable prices for their seats. Yes, this is indeed one aspect that would influence one’s enjoyment of the game at hand. It’s not just about baseball stadium seating that is important now. If you worry about the steep prices of baseball stadium seats, then you surely would not be enjoying the game as much as you would want to or as originally planned. The price differences of tickets are not really felt if you are just a lone viewer, which is highly unlikely. If you are watching a baseball game, you will most likely be with family or with friends. This is because baseball is indeed a favorite pastime of Americans. So, it would be really nice for baseball stadiums to give affordable baseball stadium seating.
There’s one classic example that remains quite the favorite among Oriole fans. There was one time when the Baltimore Orioles offered upper deck seats at half the price. All the person had to do was bring in a 7th inning stretch lottery ticket that lost on particular dates that season. With that losing lottery ticket, the person could now watch the game from the upper deck! A lot of people brought in losing lottery tickets that season. And this is not the only promotion that the Orioles gave! There was also one time when upper deck seats were also given to a certain number of people who would bring in a receipt bearing a Wendy’s value meal purchase. This was a great promotional stint for both the Orioles and Wendy’s. In fact, the revenue for Wendy’s that particular season really went up, as well as the season tickets for the Orioles’ games.
Major League Baseball stadiums are also know to have a great view from whatever deck or seat you are at. This is because the seats are properly angled so as the viewer will not have to adjust his or her position into an uncomfortable one, just to get a good view of the game. And how are the seats angled? They are actually angled to give the viewers a straight view of the home plate. Of course, it’s pretty understandable why the home plate is of import here, simply because this is where homes would take place. And you would want to get a good view of a runner sliding down the home plate, in the hopes of either an “out” or a “save” from the umpire. Thus, the importance of home plate angles.
Good baseball stadiums also have to have reliable food vendors that work there in a regular basis. The great part about baseball is the fact that you are outdoors, watching the game you love, and there are a lot of food and beverages at the click of your finger. Thus, food vendors are very important in baseball stadiums. Beer, sodas, hotdogs, popcorn, chips, peanuts, you name it!
These are just some of the aspects of baseball stadiums that can influence the enjoyment of viewers. But the most important one of all is the security of the place. You go there with your families, your relatives, and your friends. It is not out of the ordinary to want to make sure that the stadium is indeed a safe one.
